Electromatic Classic Hollow Body Single-Cut with Bigsby features a laminated
maple body with vintage-inspired perimeters and refined arches, as well as
trestle block bracing to help reduce unwanted feedback. Coupled with the FT-5E
Filter’Tron pickups, this hollow build’s voice explodes with a huge full-bodied
punch, classic chime, and enhanced presence, clarity, and note definition.
Features
The Gretsch G5420T Electromatic Classic Hollow Body Single-Cut features FT-5E
Filter’Tron pickups. It has a classic ‘C’-shaped maple neck featuring a 12-inch
radius laurel fingerboard with pearloid Neo-Classic thumbnail inlays. The
versatile upgraded controls include master volume with treble bleed circuit,
master tone, individual pickup volume controls for bridge and neck, and a
three-position pickup toggle switch. It has oversized bound F holes and
multi-ply body binding. It has a smaller late-’50s G6120 bound headstock and
vintage-style open-back tuning machines. Next comes a Graph Tech NuBone nut and
a Bigsby B60 vibrato tailpiece. It has an Adjusto-Matic bridge with a secured
laurel base. The hardware is Nickel. The Gretsch G5420T is available in a
Two-Tone Vintage White/London Gray finish.
