The Alvarez MD60 Herringbone combines all-solid construction with a powerful, responsive dreadnought voice. Its solid AAA Sitka spruce top and solid African mahogany back and sides deliver clear bass, sparkling trebles, and a warm, focused midrange. Designed with flatpickers and strong strummers in mind, it offers the projection and definition needed for driving rhythms and articulate lead passages.

FS6 forward-shifted bracing encourages resonance and a quick response, helping individual notes stand out while full chords ring with depth and clarity. A rosewood fingerboard, bi-level rosewood bridge, and bone nut and saddle round out the build.

Inspired by traditional bluegrass instruments, the MD60 features herringbone detailing, premium mother-of-pearl inlays, nickel open-gear tuners, and a tortoiseshell-style pickguard. Its natural gloss finish highlights the solid tonewoods for a classic, understated appearance. Includes an AFC30 Flexicase.
