This one’s a serious player’s instrument—an expertly crafted hybrid that marries boutique elegance with road-ready grit. At its core is a stunning Marleaux body made from richly grained bubinga and finished in a natural satin that shows off its carved curves. Sitting an inch and a half off the bridge is a single MEC humbucker in the Stingray style, oversized pole pieces and all, ready to deliver growling mids and tight low end. Whether you're laying down a thick groove or letting sustained notes bloom, this pickup brings the attitude and authority you’d expect from a high-end build.

What makes this bass truly unique is the neck—a graphite Moses creation, fretless and smooth to the touch. It’s rock-solid, with none of the shifting or warping that comes with traditional wood, and it sings with a clear, articulate voice. The six-bolt neck joint gives it a stable, locked-in feel, while the 4+1 tuner layout, combined with the Stingray-inspired pickup placement, gives a nod to the classics in both form and function. Electronics are clever and versatile: you get a master volume with a push/pull active preamp, stacked 2-band EQ for shaping your highs and lows, a passive tone control for taming treble in passive mode, and a mini toggle that switches your humbucker between series, parallel, and tapped operation—dialing in exactly the flavor you need.

Condition wise, this bass is in great shape overall. It has a few light dings on the bass side lower bout, and a handful of smaller dings scattered around the body, but no gouges or major damage. The back of the neck is entirely free from damage.

Strung B to G in standard 5-string tuning, this instrument delivers deep, foundational lows with all the finesse of a fretless voice. From jazz to dub, soul to fusion, it’s ready to carve its way through a mix or stand alone as a melodic force. Includes a Gator hardshell case to keep it safe and sharp wherever the gig takes you.
