2009 Fender Stratocaster Standard 2-Tone Sunburst w/ Maple Fretboard, 6-Screw Bridge, Fender Gigbag
Here’s a no-frills, USA-built Fender Stratocaster that gets right to the point: classic tone, timeless style, and a neck that feels like home. This 2009 model features that familiar 2-tone sunburst over an alder body, accented with a lightly aged parchment pickguard. The neck is a solid piece of maple with a satin finish on the back for smooth movement. It’s carved to Fender’s modern “C” profile and capped with a 9.5" radius maple board and 22 medium jumbo frets — ideal for expressive bends and fast, fluid runs without choking out.
It’s got the tried-and-true Stratocaster setup: three single-coil pickups, a master volume and dual tone controls, and a 5-way switch that unlocks all the bell-like tones and classic spank this guitar is known for. Everything here is straight ahead and traditional. The vintage-style 6-screw tremolo system gives you that classic feel and response under your hand, while the bent steel saddles and cold-rolled steel block keep things snappy and resonant.
There’s a bit of honest wear on the body — a small chip in the finish on the treble side contour and light playwear on the pickguard — but nothing that affects the feel or performance. It’s been professionally set up and plays low and clean across the board. The frets have been polished to high shine for smooth and easy bends. The electronics have been cleaned for a crackle-free experience. Includes a padded Fender gig bag that keeps it safe and travel-ready. If you’re after a workhorse Strat that delivers the goods without any gimmicks, this one’s dialed and ready to rip.
