Dave Mustaine's personal "Big 4" Megadeth tour played Dean Custom Shop signature XO Explorer Heavy Relic finished in aged vintage white. Only 50 of this limited model was ever made, including for Dave himself. Played on stage for some of Megadeth's biggest shows. With a Mahogany body and Korina neck, this is the most balanced guitar Dave ever had made for himself, and I have played his personal Jacksons and ESPs. This one is extremely light for an Explorer and better balanced than his other signature models. The guitar is one of a number of Mustaine's personal instruments sold off prior to him joining Gibson. Dave's "Dean Guitars" era represents Megadeth's incredible comeback period, resulting in the band's only Grammy win for "Dystopia." You can see the guitar with the rest of Dave's guitar collection photographed backstage at the legendary Wembley Arena in London before Megadeth's show with Five Finger Death Punch and Bad Wolves. You can see Dave picking up and signing the front of the guitar and placing it back down next to the rest of his guitars. Video of the signing backstage will be given to the buyer. The guitar comes with full provenance including two signed COAs and three videos with Dave.
