With the PRS SE Custom 24-08 Charcoal Cherry Burst electric guitar, Paul Reed Smith unveils a highly versatile interpretation of his iconic model, now part of the popular SE series. This guitar is a true all-rounder, offering eight distinct tonal options, making it suitable for nearly any musical style while delivering exceptional playability. The classic wood selection and the proven design elements of PRS’s U.S. instruments ensure an authentic playing experience across all registers. Meanwhile, the innovative wiring system opens up a world of sonic possibilities, making the SE Custom 24-08 one of the most flexible guitars in its class. To top it off, the guitar comes with a matching gig bag, ensuring both protection and convenience for on-the-go musicians.

The mahogany body in the typical PRS design has a maple top with an elegant Shallow Violin Carve including curly maple veneer and forms the ergonomic silhouette of the popular Custom 24 with wide cutaways. For the left hand, on the other hand, the glued maple neck offers optimum playing characteristics across all 24 frets of its rosewood fretboard thanks to its handy "Wide Thin" profile. Other classic PRS appointments include the balanced scale length of 635 mm and a 10" fretboard radius that is oriented between Vintage and modern.

Optimally matched to the PRS SE Custom 24-08 Charcoal Cherry Burst in terms of capacitance and inductance, the PRS TCI 'S' humbuckers deliver balanced clean and overdrive sounds, ensuring every note is heard with harmonic articulation. Each pickup is equipped with its own coil-split switch for transparent single-coil sounds, giving the electric guitar, in combination with the traditional 3-way circuit, a total of eight distinctive tones. As a true PRS instrument, the SE Custom 24-08 Charcoal Cherry Burst is naturally equipped with a smooth PRS Designed Tremolo and tuning-stable PRS Designed Die-Cast tuners.
