Höfner has taken the rich genetic DNA from its renowned relatives and gave it to the HI-VB. This model has inherited the tailpiece, control panel and the traditional zero fret from the Contemporary series and the acoustical attributes from the legendary handcrafted original 500/1 version. Both, the 500/1 and the HI-VB have a similar constructed body and therefore similar tone characteristics. All this for an attractive price that enables everyone the chance to play and create the original Höfner sound. Chrome-plated hardware and sunburst finish.
