Jackson Custom Shop Strat from the Pre-Fender "Golden" era. Custom Shop 4-digit serial number puts it at 1987-1989 at the Ontario, California factory. The original Kahler tremolo and knob/switch configuration makes it likely a 1987 in my book. Mother-of-Pearl dot inlays on a dark ebony fretboard with a hint of brown to it. Very good condition for nearly 40 years old, and rare to see the pointy headstock not chipped! Obviously has some marks given its age, but it appears to have been played. Very little with no wear spots in the frets and the hardware in great condition with no corrosion from sweat etc. A rare piece of Jackson Custom Shop history for a fraction of the price of a new Custom guitar. Neck feels amazing and is super fast. Rock solid guitar.
