Here's a 1981 Fender Stratocaster in a rare Sienna Sunburst finish. This finish was only available for a short period in the early 1980s. This guitar features the same specifications as Strats from the 1978 to 1981 era, which were 3 Bolt necks as Fender figured out how to improve their sales.

This guitar features a maple neck. The pickups and pots date this to 1981. The pickups feature black plastic bobbins and the pots are dated to 1981.

There are some nicks in the finish here and there, and the maple neck does have some discoloration due to playing. This guitar was professionally refretted by Geoff Benge in 2021 and was setup as well. The fretboard was setup perfectly and received a very light polyurethane coat over the fingerboard just like the originals once it was refretted. The rest of the neck (back, sides, headstock etc) was not touched to retain its original condition. It would be extremely hard to detect this work if it was not pointed out.
