For sale we have a 2011 Fender Wayne Kramer Signature Hardtail Stratocaster in Red, White and Blue Relic finish with original hardshell case and case candy. Made in Mexico. This Siganture Model Strat is an exact replica of the MC5’s iconic American Flag themed Strat he used in the late 60’s and early 70’s. The guitar is in excellent used condition and perfect working order. This model features a medium Relic finish with aged hardware making it difficult to pinpoint exactly which areas of wear are the Relicing and which are from use but judging from the amount of fret wear, the guitar has been played rather sparingly and is in great condition. The guitar features a 25 1/2” scale length, solid Alder body, Red and White striped body finish with a blue painted pickguard with white stars, SHS pickup configuration with two vintage voiced single coil Strat pickups in the neck and bridge positions and a Seymour Duncan 59 humbucker in the middle position, 5-way pickup selector switch and a Hardtail String-through-body bridge with six vintage style adjustable saddles. The medium sized Maple neck features a 70’s style large headstock and a comfortable round C-shape profile measuring .830” deep at the first fret and .930” deep at the twelfth fret. Width at the nut measures 1 5/8”. The neck plate features the Wayne Kramer quote, “This tool kills hate”. The Rosewood fingerboard features a vintage style 7.25” radius, pearl dot inlaid fret markers and 21 medium sized frets. The frets are in great shape showing very little visible wear, tons of life left in them. The neck is nice and straight and plays beautifully, notes ring clean and clear with no dead spots. The truss rod is accessed at the heel of the neck, it turns smoothly and functions as it should. The guitar weighs in at 7 lbs. 6.5 oz. The headstock sports a matching finish with the pickguard, blue with white stars, a Fender Stratocaster waterslide decal and Fender “F” tuners.
