Here's a gem from the '60s! This Fender Jazz is all original and was kept in great shape, extremely clean. It's been set up recently to E flat standard as the truss rod is maxed out.
Plenty of gut and neck shots on this one!
An amazing example of a transition era ’68 Jazz Bass. These instruments are known for being the first ones with bound neck, block inlays and Decal logo with bigger model name on the headstock.
The original 3-Tone Sunburst finish combined with the Tortoise shell pickguard creates a true classic combination.
The neck profile is medium to slim profile.

A few more details..
This frets on the bass seem higher than usual for a 68, possible refret. Nut has been replaced as well.
The truss rod is close to being at maxed out, currently strung up with EXL-170's and it plays great. A lighter gauge would make it play even better. Heavier gauge strings are not recommended on this one.
The neck pickup is original, but the previous owner had it wired out of phase, but it's ben rewired back to original spec.
