Collings is a guitar maker based in Austin, Texas. Renowned for world-class craftsmanship, the brand is recognized for its powerful sound, structural integrity, outstanding playability, and exceptionally precise, beautiful finishes.

The Collings 00 shape with a 14-fret neck joint was long requested but had not previously been part of the lineup. It was finally introduced in Japan in 2020. This is the mahogany-bodied 00-1 14F.

To achieve the “sweet spot” Collings was aiming for, this model uses a 24-7/8" (632 mm) scale length and a slightly wider waist. Its OM-style proportions deliver excellent volume, a rich midrange, and clear note definition.

Once played, its appeal becomes immediately apparent. The compact 00 body fits comfortably against the player’s body, allowing freedom of movement. Its ideal string tension provides smooth fingering in every position, a stress-free resonance, and exceptional responsiveness for an outstanding playing experience.

From its beautiful, silky top wood and furniture-grade mahogany sides and back to its carefully selected one-piece Honduran Mahogany neck, this instrument uses the finest materials associated with “Collings quality.” These details are part of what makes this guitar so special.

This mahogany model is especially captivating for experienced guitarists and longtime guitar enthusiasts. One strum is all it takes to understand why.
