Here's a real stunner of a Les Paul that's been around the world. A certified Yamano ordered Gibson Les Paul Standard Plus Honeyburst from 2003. This is a superb example of a Yamano, with a beautiful Honeyburst flametop. Read up on these if you don’t already know… Yamano had a lot of sway in what guitars they got to pick due to the volume they imported from the USA to Japan from the 90’s to the mid 2000’s (a time which also coincided with some of Gibson’s finest work). It is said they had the pick of the bunch when it came to choosing the guitars they took back with them. This is one such guitar. It’s a stunning Standard. It was built in Gibson’s Nashville plant before Gibson introduced chambering on their standards (mid 2006) so yes, it’s non-chambered. It has a good feeling 59 profile neck carve. All original, the Burstbucker Pros sound amazing. There is still plenty of life in the frets (never had a refret so still has its fret end binding), the truss rod is fine and the neck is straight. No problems either structurally or electrically. It has a few little bumps & scrapes, overall nice condition for a 20+ year old Les Paul. It has been very well cared for. Nothing bad has ever happened to it with absolutely no breaks or repairs etc. Weight is 10lbs. Comes with its original Gibson HSC all working fine. Has Yamano import booklet. This is a rare chance to get your hands on a top quality Yamano hand-selected Les Paul Standard Plus with a really exceptional top, much better than your average Standard. This one made it to Japan, it’s a true Yamano.
