Customize Your Bass Set
Start by selecting your Elixir® Strings Nickel Plated Steel foundation set. Add your custom 5th or 6th string. It's that easy!

Elixir Nickel Plated Steel Bass Strings with NANOWEB® Coating deliver a rich, rounded tone with greater clarity. The NANOWEB Coating is more durable• even during hard hitting attacks and provides a smooth natural feel with reduced finger squeak. Like all Elixir Strings, these coated bass strings offer extended tone life.
*compared to original NANOWEB Coating

Elixir Strings is the only brand to coat the entire string, protecting not only the outer string surface, but also the gaps between the windings. Elixir Strings with NANOWEB Coating retain their tone longer than any other bass string, uncoated or coated.**
