The Martin 012-28 Modern Deluxe is a masterclass in blending timeless tone with cutting-edge craftsmanship. This grand concert beauty takes Martin’s legendary small-body design and elevates it with vintage-inspired details and modern refinements.
The torrefied spruce top (VTS) delivers a rich, broken-in tone right out of the case, while the dovetail neck joint ensures the deep, resonant voice Martin is known for. East Indian rosewood back and sides add warmth and clarity, making this an outstanding choice for fingerstyle players and singer-songwriters alike.
Visually, this guitar is a showstopper—the European flamed maple binding, gold frets, and open-gear tuners add a refined elegance, while the 1930s-style headstock logo gives a nod to Martin’s golden era. With a Vintage Deluxe neck shape for exceptional comfort and playability, the 012-28 Modern Deluxe is as rewarding to hold as it is to hear.
If you’re looking for an acoustic that honors tradition but plays like a dream in the modern era, this is the one. Classic Martin tone, modern deluxe feel.
