Today’s offering is a Vintage Late 1970s~ early 1980s Washburn SB-5 “Raven” solid body electric guitar from the “Wing Series”, likely dating between 1979-81. Manufactured in Japan. Jet black/ebony finish, dual cream double bobbin humbucking pickups, hard tail bridge w individual saddles, 2 tone knobs & 2 volume knobs. Tons of legitimate mojo. She’s a solid player that really shines on the treble side of the audio spectrum, in particular.

*Condition*

We consider this guitar to be in good playable condition, and in fair cosmetic condition. Recently given a full professional setup by our luthier, Dave Fecca of Moorestown, NJ. It’s a rock solid player, but as you can see, she has noticeable cosmetic defects and a shit ton of character from play wear. The front of the body has some light dings, and two noticeable scratches underneath the bridge. Noticeable ding to the left of the fret board. Ding on the bottom of the body, and to the right of the control knobs. Paint chipping around the edges of the body, some noticeable dings around the sides. a few dings around the headstock, as well as the top. Back side shows a lot of vertical weather checking and scratches. Rear black plastic control cavity cover has been replaced w a hand cut new cover by our luthier. Please closely inspect all photos. Good guitar that has been around the block and still has plenty of stories to tell! A natural relic.
