These are not the 80 year old usual 12" all paper cone variety,that might be good from 150hz- 4khz, but rather are DEDICATED FIELD COIL WOOFERS....and low- they go.

These were just completely fabricated at PMR with rather large 600 ohm field coils...

They were stripped down to individual components,and rebuilt from the inside out.theyre basically brand new units that aren't even broken in yet

They were built with McIntosh 12" woofer parts, as used in those monstrous multi driver speakers from the 80s/80s...

These have Repressed pulp cones, and high compliance and excursion half roll surrounds,which physically allow the large movements required for those low bass notes...you can get into the 30Hz range with these!!!...

The cones are that blueish colored pulp,are smooth bodied,with a conical profile....like a cerwin vega...

Impedance is 8 ohms

..power is easily 100 watts RMS with proper employment,and ypu don't loose cone control...do that,and you'll dig down into the 30hz range with the proper voltage,which is the beautiful thing about a field coil...you alter some variable parameters for proper tuning.
