Update 5/30/2025 - New strings D'Addario 10-46 gauge EXLs setup and installed, this guitar plays like a dream! Included are the red strap, strap blocks, and tweed hardshell case pictured. Only con is the hole in the back that has been filled in with wood filler, see pics.
-Fender Deluxe Candy Apple Red body with contoured heel
-Fender authentic maple neck with pau ferro fingerboard, sanded nut saddles, and locking tuners and heavy string trees
-Seymour Duncan Quarter Pound Telecaster set hand-wired with shielding paint in cavities
-Mojotone Vitamin T .022uf capacitor attached to 500K pots hand wired with vintage cloth wiring finished with black pearl accented knobs
- Telecaster ashtray bridge with brass saddles
- OEM "Fender" spaghetti logo contoured heel plate
- Black custom hand wired control cavity with matching input jack
The thinking behind the colors is to accentuate the pickup set. Telecasters never really match and usually have a nickel plated cover on the neck pickup and the bridge is left uncovered. I carried this layout north with the silver locking tuners and strap buttons as well as south with black hardware in the control cavity. Assembled by hand in San Clemente, CA. A 1/1 custom (DR3)
