What is a “Factory Demonstration Model”?

This is a nearly new guitar that has been used only to demonstrate its performance by an ESP sales rep and is offered for sale at a discounted price. The guitar's specific condition will be described in the listing and any marks will be noted. We complete a full factory setup and hand-inspection before shipping. It should also be mentioned that a “Demonstration Model” comes with ESP's Factory Warranty.

The E-II Horizon FR-II is a guitar designed to handle literally any kind of music with serious professional results for recording and live performance. Formerly called “ESP Standard”, all ESP E-II instruments are created at the ESP factory in Tokyo, Japan, and are designed for professional players who accept no compromises in tone, feel, or reliability for their guitars and basses. The E-II Horizon FR-II offers neck-thru-body construction with a mahogany body and arched quilted maple top, and a three-piece maple neck that features an ebony fingerboard with 24 extra-jumbo stainless steel frets and offset block inlays, and a satin finish on the back for super smooth playability. This guitar offers high-end components that include a Floyd Rose Original bridge, Gotoh locking tuners, and ESP strap locks. Pickups on the E-II Horizon FR-II are EMG 66TW (neck) and EMG 57TW (bridge), both with Brushed Black Chrome covers and coil splitting with push-pull controls. Includes an ESP hardshell form-fitting case.
