The Wampler Sovereign distortion pedal was engineered by Brian Wampler to give you ideal distorted tone. Sweetwater players know that's a tall order, but the pedal's controls for gain, bright, boost, and mid behavior can get you there by letting you dial in a wide range of sounds, from thick and fluid to cutting and aggressive. And it does it all while maintaining a huge amount of clarity and touch responsiveness. Unlike many other highly regarded overdrive units, the Sovereign wasn't built to emulate any other distortion circuits. It was built to be better than them.
