Unlike anything else made today, the early '50s Teles are something else. A part of music history, they have a handmade quality that sets each one of them apart. This '55 is no different, with a great bite and a great tone. This guitar has a wonderful soft V neck profile that feels like butter in your hand and the neck and bridge pickup are just as you'd expect. The 'mud' circuit is still in place here so expect some dark tone from the neck pickup!

This example has replaced tuners (original in case), replaced pickup selector switch. It has the original pickups, neck date of 6-55 and a 'Mary 7-13-55' assembly date in the control cavity. It is in great condition for its age with some normal wear and scuffs but no major breaks or repairs. Serial #7816, comes with the original case.
