Theory of operation for mastering is you take your stereo source and feed in into the stereo input, the smaller gain knob on the left sets the level, which can be listened to via the ‘stereo’ button and is output out the back to be sent to your chain, which feeds your DAW, and then comes back to one of the 2 track inputs for monitoring. This gives you a ‘before’ and ‘after’ as well as a global input level trim for your mastering chain and 8 additional stereo inputs. There’s also a discrete headphone amp with independent level (far right) and a meter trim switch to range down the meters. The rest is fairly self explanatory
