Here's an opportunity to get your hands on a rare hand-wired Brown Note Lite 18-watt Marshall amp. British racing green "Jaguar Green" tolex with gold and black speaker cover and gold piping.
Built by Brown Note. Brand name and model logo on the control faceplate and Marshall logo on the front of the amplifier. This is an ORIGINAL Brown Note, not a kit.
20" tall, 24" wide, 11" deep.
Though "only" 18 watts, this amplifier is loud and can easily hold its own in a club. What I love about the amp is it also sounds great at bedroom levels.
The clean sound is shimmery, like a glassy Fender and sparkly VOX AC mixed. The amp take pedals well. You can get some terrific Plexi type tones from this amp. Crank it up and AC-DC type tones are easy to get. this amp is really quite versatile.
In very good shape. Some color changes in the tolex due to light exposure, but mechanically, it is perfect.
So.......why am I selling it? I need room. I have a Marshall 1974 and a Trainwreck that I've been playing more and more of and the Brown Note has been sitting in my studio unused. Hopefully, someone will purchase it and use it because it's such a great sounding amp, it needs to be played.
