PRS DGT 1x12 Speaker Cabinet - Blonde Tolex

The PRS David Grissom Signature DGT 1x12 cabinet is the ideal companion for the DGT 15 head, designed to capture the nuance and expressive nature of vintage-style amplification. At Palen Music Center, we love gear that not only sounds incredible but looks the part, and this cabinet delivers on both fronts. Wrapped in a stunning Blonde Tolex with a classic Salt & Pepper grill cloth, it exudes a sophisticated aesthetic that perfectly matches its refined sonic character. The construction is robust yet portable, making it a reliable choice for gigging guitarists who demand premium performance in a compact footprint.

At the heart of this cabinet is a Celestion Vintage 30 speaker, a legendary driver known for its ability to cut through a mix with authority. While this is a passive cabinet rather than a tube amp, the V30 acts as a critical filter for your amplifier's tone, providing warm, tight lows, a rich, vocal-like midrange, and a detailed, singing top end. This speaker choice ensures that every ounce of gain and harmonic complexity generated by your amplifier is translated accurately to the room.

To further enhance the projection and feel, PRS utilized a ported, semi-open back design. This clever engineering allows the cabinet to breathe, adding an expressive, three-dimensional quality to your sound while eliminating the "boxiness" often associated with smaller enclosures. Whether you are chasing the specific tones of David Grissom or simply need a high-quality 1x12 to pair with your favorite low-to-mid wattage head, this cabinet offers a balanced frequency response that feels massive despite its size.
