How Chorus Differs From Phaser or Reverb Effects

A chorus pedal thickens and enriches a guitar's sound by duplicating the signal, slightly delaying, and detuning the copies to create a lush, shimmering effect. This differs from a phaser pedal, which produces a sweeping, whooshing sound by shifting the phase of the signal, and a reverb pedal, which adds spatial ambiance by simulating natural sound reflections in a physical space. Each pedal offers unique sound enhancements: chorus adds depth and richness, phaser creates swirling effects, and reverb provides echo and ambiance.
