Offering discrete, all-analog studio FET compressor circuitry for bass, guitar, and more, the Pedal76 sports the powerful sound of its heritage thanks to its CineMag, balanced transformer design.

The Pedal76 includes the full range of original studio controls, including Attack, Release, Output, and Input. A vintage-style amber VU meter lets you easily keep an eye on your gain reduction levels. Switches are available for several useful performance utilities, including true or buffered bypass, low- or high-gain modes, and more. And with 9V battery or external power supply support, you can easily power the Pedal76 no matter where you are and what your pedalboard configuration is.

Like studio compressors, Pedal76 has Attack, Release, Ratio, and Input controls, critical for taming unwanted changes in volume onstage.

Attack governs the start of the compression action

• Release controls the end of the compression effect
• Ratio adjusts the strength of the compression against the dry signal
• Input determines how much dry signal to feed into the compression circuit
• Output acts as makeup gain / master volume control to ensure Pedal76 plays well with your rig

Premium Solid-State Components

Pedal76 uses premium and custom components to achieve authentic 76-style FET compression. The custom CineMag transformer is designed to duplicate the professional performance and tone of studio units in a pedalboard-friendly format. Premium capacitors, resistors, and transistors round out a circuit that delivers an authentic studio experience onstage.

Optimize Your Live Performances

An external switch allows you to select true or buffered bypass, ensuring you can either maintain a pure tone with a simple setup (true bypass), or prop up your signal integrity during long cable runs and complex pedalboard signal chains (buffered bypass). You get extra utilities for gigs too, including a switch for input sensitivity, a ground-lift switch for eliminating any ground loop, a selectable pad for DI operation, and both high- and low-gain modes.
