Here's The Run Down:

This is a Early & Vintage Hofner President Electric Guitar that's in nice shape over all for its age and plays beautifully! Its becoming harder to find these Early President Electrics and they are truly a very cool vintage Hofner Model. Its in the cosmetic condition shown, so be sure to see all of the pics (more available upon request).  I tried to take good pics, so you can judge for yourself (see pics). From what I can see, this guitar appears to have all original parts with the exception of changed tuning pegs (no extra holes visible), and the control knobs. Pots and wiring have been verified and are also original. The finish will show some age and flaws as you would expect. Flaws may consist of finish checking, dings, scratches, marks and/or flaws here and there as pictured, but is still very playable and in nice cosmetic condition overall for a 68 year old vintage guitar.  The hardware is in good shape, but does have discoloration as you would expect. The fret wear is average and plays great without issue across the board.

This 1956 Hofner plays great! Although I think its set up perfectly, everyone has their own preferences. If your not happy with its set up, it will be your responsibility and cost to have it set up to your liking. The action is 3/32" at the body with a chunkier neck and plays great from the nut to the body.  

The included case (not pictured) is newer and is a good fit without issue.
