Up for sale is a Kauer Banshee Deluxe in Round Up Orange with TV Jones Power’Tron pickups. This is a beautifully built boutique instrument from Doug Kauer, known for his incredibly resonant bodies, vintage-inspired design, and top-tier craftsmanship.
The guitar is in excellent condition and has been lightly played in a smoke-free home environment. It has never been gigged and has been kept in its case when not in use. The finish, hardware, and electronics are all in great shape with only minimal signs of normal handling.
This particular configuration is a great one — the Power’Trons deliver that classic Gretsch-style chime and punch, but with more midrange body and output, making the guitar extremely versatile. It covers everything from clean jangle to gritty rock tones beautifully.
The Banshee Deluxe is also known for its fantastic resonance and comfortable feel. It’s lightweight, very responsive, and has the kind of lively acoustic character that makes boutique guitars special.
The neck carve feels like a comfortable medium profile — substantial but not chunky — and the guitar plays effortlessly up and down the neck.
I love this guitar, but I’m currently thinning the herd and focusing on a smaller set of instruments. It deserves to be played more than I’m currently able to give it.
