So I have an old Neotek Series III console. Last year, my business partner and I decided to revamp the control room and forgo the console altogether, deciding to go with outboard pre's for our front end.

My 36-channel, 24-bus Neotek has been sitting in storage ever since. And while I have had the grand plans to either sell it outright, or rack some of these channels myself, I don't know when I'll find the time between studio owner, full time job, parent to two kids, husband, musician, etc.

I'm listing these at what I see as a fair, $300 each. I have 36 channels. All channels were recapped in 2019. The console came from Colorado, and has some pedigree to it—Los Lobos recorded an album on this board, so it has some history.

It pains me to go this route, but I know the market for a 36-channel board is slim, and most people will likely want a small sidecar of 8 channels or maybe just a pair to rack. I think I'll have better luck parting it out than selling it as a whole kit.

That being said, if you're in the NJ/PA/NYC area, I'd sell the console itself. It currently is not operational (there appears to be some power issue ongoing with it, that I suspect is a simple fix with the stupid 14-pin connectors for the power supply. I purchased a brand-new power supply from Sytek in 2021. I also own all of the tools to re-seat the pins in the housings. It has two big honking military-grade DIN-style connectors that are a royal pain in the butt (especially in my tiny control room) to work on. I just don't have the time or mental capacity to fix it.

Considering I have probably $12K invested in the board, I'd sell it for $10K even. At my price per strip, you'd get the master section, all bus routing, the frame, the old and brand new power supplies, and a buttload (and I mean buttload) of spare opamps, parts, diagnostics tools, and random miscellanea I've collected over the years, probably $1-2K in parts alone.

Considering the age, these strips are being sold as-is. This listing is meant to be a placeholder for them; shoot me a message with what you're looking for and I can make it happen for you.
