Up for grabs is a used (with a little less than light average wear) Visual Sound H2O version 1 (it is the first model of the FIRST Version - ver 1 with cursive "V" graphic) Liquid Chorus & Echo (ANALOG). From around the early 2000s (pre June 2004).

Come with a a 9 volt battery and a new set of black square-ish shaped rubber feet. Also -

I am also including one new set of D'Addario EXL-110 light (gauge 10) electric guitar strings. Please let me know if you prefer D'Addario EXL-120 extra light (gauge 9) strings instead of the gauge 10 strings.

In case you don't / didn't know - the first models of the first version of this model pedal were designed with cursive letter "V" graphic on the lower center area of the TOP Side. As I stated in the title and at the start of the description - the pedal for sale is the first model model of the FIRST Version. This version has a cursive letter "V" graphic. As production continued for the first version- Visual Sound changes the cursive "V" graphic to a non cursive "V" graphic.

Both version 1 models function the same way and have the same features / controls. And as far as I know (but I am not 100 % sure) - both have the same internal components. According the Effects Database website (from information taken from Visual Sound) - "As of June 2004, the H2O Chorus channel will have an even sweeter sounding Chorus, and a faster Leslie speed potential. You can have your older H2O pedal upgraded to include these mods, and have the new Visual Sound BBD chips."

The original black rubber feet were taken off by the previous owner because the pedal had velcro on it (the velcro was taken off and is NOT included) and was on a pedalboard (pedalboard NOT included).

• I am including a set of 7 black rubber feet that are the same type / style as the original rubber feet.
• The pictures # 2 and 13 show the bottom side of the pedal with small pieces of yellow paper that show where the feet go.

This pedal has the battery cover.

The pedal was tested and it works fine.

If you are looking at this pedal - the you know what it is all about. It is a very awesome ANALOG Chorus / Echo (delay) effect pedal.

No longer made. Great for collectors, for someone to use, or both, Also great to give to someone as a gift.

I'd say that it has a little less than light average wear. Your opinion might differ.

To cover myself- I put it's condition as GOOD. But I personally feel that it is in between Very Good and Good shape. Again - your opinion might differ.

For its age (about 24 years old more or less) - it's in nice shape. Not 100% perfect. It has been used and it has imperfection from use.

The casing has some tiny & very small nicks, some small & very small chips, some bigger bigger chips, some deep scratches, some not too light / not too deep scratches, some light scratches, some scuffs, and some rust spots. You can see many - but not all of the imperfections in the pictures.

The pedal has all of the knobs.

The white graphic on the TOP SIDE and on the BACK SIDE have a couple of tiny & very small nicks, some very short & short scratches, a few faded areas - but nothing too extreme

The The white graphic on the BOTTOM SIDE - Some of the information has faded of and in not visible. Some other areas have some small faded areas. And there are some tiny & very small nicks and some very short & short scratches,

The silver hardware (nuts / washers for the jacks and the on / off switches) are mostly very clean. The top sided of the switched have some tiny nicks and a few very light scratches.

The black screws / washers are fine.

The battery cover has some light surface scuffs that look light cloudy surface wide wavy & straight lines, these is some other light- but visible cloudiness. I just wanted to let you know that no matter how you screw down the battery cover (tight or loose) it does lot lay 100 % flat on the bottom side of the casing (there is a small gap), The battery cover is made of stiff - but flexible plastic.- Even when you bend it a little - it still does not lay flat. To access the battery compartment area - you just have to loosen the screw and swing the black plastic cover - as seen in picture # 18 ) - or if it's easier for you - you can take off the battery cover).

I stumbled upon this article when I was looking for information about this model pedal and when I was looking for a link for the Owner's Manual. Not successful in finding a link for the Owner's Manual (but I had a photo copy a few years ago - when I had one that did have the paperwork). A printout copy of the Owner's Manual is included.

CONTROLS (knobs) for CHORUS: Speed, Width, and Delay Time.

CONTROLS (knobs) for the ECHO: Echo Time. Speed. and Effect Level. And the ECHO side has a SHORT / LONG switch.

ON / OFF SWITCHES: One for the CHORUS side (green light) and one for the ECHO side (red light).

NOTE:   There may be some imperfections that I overlooked.   There are some imperfections that can be seen in person that do not appear in the pictures.   And - there maybe some imperfections show up in the pictures that are not that visible in person (like glares and dust specks.

H2O Liquid Chorus & Echo continues the Visual Sound tradition of combining two professional quality effects into one reasonably priced pedal. First, you get liquid analog chorus created by using rare NOS BBD ("bucket brigade") chips. With controls for Speed, Width, and Delay Time, you can get an endless variety of chorus sounds from subtle to lush to under water. Then there's the echo channel. Up to 800ms of analog voiced, digital echo. You can switch from short to long echo times on the fly and dial in just the right settings with the familiar controls: Echo Time, Repeats, and Effect Level.

H2O even has a second output jack for sending a dry (uneffected) signal to a second amp. And if you prefer to have an effected signal going to your second amp, the pedal can be easily modified to accommodate that.

Like other Visual Sound pedals, you can use either channel by itself or combine them together. Just stomp on both switches at the same time to switch from one channel to the other or to turn them both on or both off. Come on in, the water's fine!
