Sony SMAD-P5 Multi Interface Shoe Adaptor for URX-P40

The SMAD-P5 Multi Interface (MI) Shoe Adaptor allows convenient, cable-free connection of the URX-P40 wireless receiver to compatible camcorders or interchangeable-lens cameras featuring an MI (Multi Interface) shoe. Audio signals are transmitted directly from the wireless receiver to the camera with no need for connecting cables. The adaptor also supports direct digital audio recording with compatible camcorders, bypassing A/D and D/A conversion stages to deliver high sound quality with low noise. The SMAD-P5 allows the wireless receiver to draw power from the camcorder via the MI shoe, while receiver power ON/OFF can be controlled directly from the camera.

The SMAD-P5 is applicable to XDCAM Camcorder PXW-Z280/Z190, PXW-X180/X160, PXW-X280/X200*, PXW-Z150**, PXW-FX9, PXW-FS7, PXW-FS7II, PXW-FS5, PXW-FS5II, PXW-Z90 and PXW-X70, NXCAM Camcorder HXR-NX5R**, HXR-NX80, HXR-MC2500 and HXR-MC88, Handycam FDR-AX60 and NEX-VG30, interchangeable lens digital camera ?7II, ?7III, ?7RII, ?7RIII, ?7RIV, ?7S, ?7SII, ?7SIII, ?7C, ?9, ?9II, ?6600 and ?99II with analog output setting. Digital connection is available with PXW-FX9, PXW-Z280/Z190***, ?7RIV, ?7SIII, ?7C and ?9II. PXW-FX9 and PXW-Z280/Z190*** can show the wireless microphone status on the LCD or viewfinder.
