This violin may be a little rough looking, but wow, does it deliver with tone! This German Hopf copy has the really pleasing dark/mysterious tone in the lower strings and plenty of clarity in the upper strings. It plays effortlessly too. Simply a great instrument. We fitted a new bridge to it and put on new strings. It has a few repaired top cracks by the neck, a few deep impressions on the top, and a tiny patched hole on the back. Otherwise, it's a normal mix of dings and light scratches and wear around the play area/bridge. It is in very good condition and comes with a vintage hard case.
