The tone produced by this configuration is thick but also distinctly clear and present, capturing the subtle dynamics and textures of your guitar's output. The birch construction not only enhances the sound quality but also ensures durability and resilience, making it a dependable choice for both studio recordings and live performances. This combination of robust build and exceptional sound makes the 2X12 cabinet a top choice for serious guitarists who demand premium sound and reliable performance from their equipment.

Back in the late 60s, the G12H was created by fixing an 'H' type (heavy) magnet to the body of a G12M guitar speaker. The result was a speaker with more power and a different tonal balance: firmer bass and a more pronounced top end. So Celestion added an 'H' magnet to the G12M-65 Creamback, create a guitar speaker that delivers the sonic signature of a G12H combined with Creamback levels of power handling.
