(NEW) The top of the line for Gold Tone's tribute banjos, the OB-Grandee evokes some of the greatest pre-war banjo models. It certainly looks the part, with gold plated hardware, Grandee-engraved armrest, bound resonator, neck and peghead, and lovely Hearts & Flowers inlays. It has a sand-cast brass tone ring, 3-ply Canadian maple rim and 11" notched Grandee tension hoop. The 14" maple resonator has a high-gloss finish and a pale sunburst. 26 1/4" scale length. Gotoh planetary tuners and of course includes hard case.
This banjo proves that Gold Tone is one of the big players in banjos these days, this one is professional on all levels.
