The CC-50TR is an inexpensive open-back banjo that's ideal for kids or for any picker to travel with. It features the same open-back eleven-inch pot assembly found on our hugely popular CC-50 but we've eliminated the first two frets to create a short-scale neck to make a lightweight banjo that's tuned one whole step above the standard banjo.

Although it is an "A-scale" model, you can install medium gauge banjo strings and easily go to the standard G tuning (GDGBD). Hard Case included. Available as a left-handed model.
