This official Seymour Duncan Sentient Neck Humbucker Pickup offers you the articulation demanded by modern metal guitar players, whether run clean or through the filthiest of high gain channels.

The Sentient is a very articulate vintage output pickup with great dynamic response and a wide harmonic range. It works great for low tunings in all humbucker equipped guitars. Originally designed to accompany the seven and eight string passive Nazgul and Pegasus bridge pickups, the Sentient Neck delivers a balanced, versatile tone that fits right between their iconic ’59 and Jazz model neck pickups. You’ll get pristine cleans for intricate chordal and single note runs with fluid leads under high gain, letting your guitar handle whatever you throw at it. Pair it with the passive Nazgul or Pegasus bridge humbucker for a perfectly balanced metal tone. Hand built in Santa Barbara, California, the Seymour Duncan Sentient uses an alnico five bar magnet, nickel silver bottom plate, four conductor lead wire for multiple wiring options and is vacuum wax potted for squeal free performance.
