First of all I really enjoyed the sound of this as an analog console in my hybrid studio. Used as 12 ch console with busses. The eq works well and the sound was warm and not noisy like I had assumed it might be. Pleasantly surprised that it lit up and functioned the way it did. Ran a few tracks back out and used a buss to make a simple mix. Don't have the room for another analog console so I need to let it go. Here are the known basics/issues...
Analog recording console with RCA and XLR connections.
16 Ch./16 in and out +48v phantom per channel
12 are usable as is.
Master section works as intended
Sound from 13 of 16 channels with no issues (coupe scratchy pots)
All inputs and pre amps seem to take signal (peak light flickers when audio introduced)
Meters show signal and solo buttons seem to operate fine.
1 of the 5 unusable ch. works but a piece of the fader cap broke off and is in the fader cap slot where it is held to the fader. Needs to be pulled out to be replaced. Fader still functions properly.
4 of the faders operate and the channel receives signal according to meter and peak light but sound from these specific channels does not emit from the master section. A 5th ch. was doing that as well but working the knobs and faders seems to have fixed the issue.
It's possible it just needs cleaned but I'm not a tech so is being sold as is.
