The Martin BC-16E acoustic-electric bass brings the low-end to the 16 Series. Handcrafted in our Nazareth factory, this full-scale bass boasts a spruce top paired with East Indian rosewood back and sides, offering a resonant and well-balanced tone for all playing styles.
Its Grand Auditorium body size provides plenty of projection, while a cutaway gives you even more room to thump those high notes with ease. This satin-finished bass also features a select hardwood neck and ebony bridge and fingerboard, delivering unparalleled playability and tone.
Equipped with Martin E1 electronics, the BC-16E gives you control over your sound, whether you’re playing at home, on stage, or in the studio. The onboard controls for volume, tone, and phase let you sculpt your sound with precision, while the built-in chromatic tuner ensures accurate tuning without the need for plugging in.
