DESCRIPTION / CONDITION UPDATED.

ABOUT US:

If you're into vintage gear, you've probably seen our website before. We've been buying, refurbishing & selling vintage synths and electronic musical instruments for 30 years. We're perfectionists and take our business, our gear, and our customers very seriously, so buy with full confidence - we won't let you down.

Our prices here may seem high, but we are a legitimate business with real business expenses, not your typical amateur seller disguised as a Reverb store. Please click on our user name to read more about our shop so you better understand our high standards and prices.

Reverb and merchant fees are high and have been factored into our prices here.

ITEM DETAILS:

This third party TX Rack by Standard Productions was a replacement for Yamaha's original powered TX rack enclosure whose power supply is known to emit a high frequency (see our other listing). This rack holds up to 8 tf1 modules, each of which is an original DX7 on a card. This one came to us with 3 tf1 modules which we decided to sell separately (see our other listings).

We normally do full restorations here and are very critical. Our tech initially said the edge card connectors on this unit should be replaced or we should sell it as needing repair. We recently had to test out some TF1s and it turns out this unit works quite well - only the right most slot doesn't work (due to a bad edge card connector). This means the first 7 slots work so this rack can accommodate 7 TF1 modules in its current state.

-International customers please contact us before buying and wait to hear back to make sure shipping quote is accurate.

-***WE NEED APPROXIMATELY 1-2 WEEKS TO PACK AND SHIP ITEMS, AND DELAYS CAN OCCUR. Please don't message us to ask if your item shipped. We will let you know once it ships. If you can’t wait patiently, please don’t buy from us as we can’t rush things.***

-Quality control and customer satisfaction are our top priorities. We go to great lengths to test, service and even future-proof most of the items we sell so they’re better than others you may find. This sale includes only what's shown in the photos (or itemized in this listing), nothing more and nothing less. Please search our website for additional photos.

-All sales are final. We do not accept returns or issue refunds, so please be sure you know you want this item before buying it.

-Due to the vintage and electronic nature of our items, we sell all items strictly as is, only because we cannot control what other people do to our items once they leave here, we cannot offer warranties on parts that are decades out of their original warranties, and we don’t want to be scammed or inconvenienced by people who abuse return policies or have buyer's remorse.

-In the extremely unlikely event that there’s a problem with an item we sell you, please contact us immediately so we can try to help.

-Thank you so much for your time, interest, and support. We look forward to doing business with you! If you need anything, please don’t hesitate to ask.

-Any date of manufacture shown here is just a guess.

-We generally set our condition ratings to "excellent", but please refer to the photos and writeup so you can have a better understanding of this items condition.
