Today we have a beautiful VINTAGE 1967 Black Faced Fender Band~Master All Tube Amplifier Head w the coveted AB763 circuit. SN: A 25558 on chassis.
*Description*
This amp has Fender’s highly regarded AB763 circuit. Also, the design of the blackface control panel is a very iconic & visually recognized amp head. This is a powerful amplifier that is still widely revered, sought after, and regularly used to this day for it‘s Vintage Rock, Blues, RnB, Soul & Funk sounds.
*Condition*
**Fully Rebuilt & serviced by our audio tech.
** Capacitors and those noisy resistors were replaced. (See last 5 pics). Replaced power cable with grounded cable. Telefunken preamp tubes & 2 Sovtek 5881/6L6 WGC vacuum power tubes in the circuit.
Super clean condition that’s not commonly found on heads of its age. If it weren’t for its classic design, I would have a hard time telling that this amp is nearly 60 years young. Grill cloth looks nice, but some fray near the top right that’s noticeable upon closer inspection. Tolex is in good shape generally, other than a discolored white square mark on the top left hand side(might be paint). This is the only condition issue that keeps us from rating this as “Excellent Condition”.
