Fasan Archtop – RARE 17.7‘‘ 1950s Master Luthier Franz Sander German Vintage Jazz Guitar Gitarre

This is quite a rare and exquisite find. This top tier guitar was made by master luthier Franz Sander in his shop under the „Fasan“ Brand. It is special in many ways. This guitar might actually be a special order or something he made for a friend. I have never seen this type or model of guitar by him before. The craftsmanship on this one is absolutely stunning.

The guitar is made from fully solid, handcarved woods. The back and sides are maple, the top is spruce, finished with a beautiful glossy sunburst finish. The neck is a 5-piece neck, making any kind of warping impossible. The fretboard is made out of beautiful black ebony with perloid inlays.

The lower bout is 45cm wide, the upper bout 36cm. So it is a 17.7‘‘ guitar, wich is huge. It sounds accordingly. It has a loud, high quality vintage sound with a lot of complexity and warmth to it – depending on the strings you use.

It is in pristine condition with very little wear as you can see in the pictures. It is original down to the last screw and fully working as intended with low action. Same goes fort he Framus mixing table.

The guitar was checked by a luthier and can be played immediatly.

Trade-ins are also okay.

I ship worldwide with DHL and with the DHL-shipping insurance wich goes up to 500€. I am not going to lie to you or blandish a possible transport risk like some other people do. International shipping can be dangerous and packages are sometimes treated roughly. If you however choose to have an international shipment, I will do my absolute best to protect the guitar. I have collected a lot of experience in the past on how to ship a guitar securely. I will take photos of the packaging and the exact condition of the guitar right before I ship it. You should know, that after shipping the guitar and entering the shipping number, I am not responsible for anything anymore and my  job is done. But I will gladly back you up with the insurance case with said photos and exact details in the rare case anything goes wrong. The standart insurance I ship all guitars with is up to 500€. If you want a higher insurance, you can get that, just ask me first.
