This is a great little banjo! Beautiful Matsumoku-factory made 5 string banjo in great condition!
This banjo plays great with low action, and has that beautiful old timey Gillian Welch tone. Sounds like losing your farm to a cloud of dust and locusts. Tunes and holds tune easily, it’s a great instrument! These were made in Japan at the same factory that made Aria and Univox.
The condition is pretty fantastic! That Lida logo on the headstock looks brand new and it’s original! I can’t believe it, normally those logos are either missing completely or partially there and dull, and this one is super reflective and eye catching! Tuners are great, I think the main tuners on the headstock may be replacements, but they’re high quality and do their job well.
Comes with this great 1970's original case. The case is super nice and does it’s job like a boss. Great instrument!
