Incredible looks, incredible vibe, fantastic playability, and excellent tone -- what else do you want in a Fender Jazz Bass? This one is from 1971 and came to me from the original owner who said he took this bass to every gig he ever played. From the looks of it, he was telling the truth!
This bass just oozes classic cool. If you've ever heard one of the old timers talk about a guitar that "feels like going home", well, this is exactly the type of thing they're talking about. The wear is so consistent, it just provides a nice warmth and comfortability to any who pick it up and play. You can't replicate this kind of wear, both player and environmental.
The bass is completely original except for the screws for the pickup covers and the frets, which were re-fretted before I received it and are in great playing condition. All the electronics and parts, including the finish, are original. Comes with a black molded hard case.
All questions welcome and answered.
