Fender Tom DeLonge Starcaster Electric Guitar Satin

The Fender Tom DeLonge Starcaster puts riff-fueled power and premium playability at your fingertips, like a rocket ready to launch into space. This offset semi-hollow is loaded with tonal artillery perfect for chunky rhythms and smoking leads. At the same time, it excels at articulate cleans and edge-of-breakup crunch, thanks to smart design choices that preserve the guitar’s natural tone and responsiveness. Whether you’re a fan of DeLonge’s iconic blink-182 sound or just crave a unique instrument with impressive versatility, this signature model possesses all the small things that make it a pleasure to play.

Unleash Turbo-Charged Tone From the SH-5 Humbucker

At the heart of the Starcaster’s out-of-this-world voice is a Seymour Duncan SH-5 Duncan Custom humbucker. This meaty PAF-influenced pickup exudes a potent midrange growl that brings power chords and searing riffs to life with gale-force intensity. It also has a distinctive high end that allows solos and melodies to slice through the densest mix. Dial in chunky, syncopated distortion for rhythmic barrages or switch to a low-gain amp tone for shimmering cleans that offer exceptional note separation and clarity.

Stay Sparkly at Low Volumes With the Treble-Bleed Circuit

While many guitars lose their top-end shimmer when rolling back the volume pot, the Fender Starcaster maintains its brilliant highs at any level. That’s thanks to its treble-bleed circuit, which allows the upper frequencies to pass through the master volume control even when dialing it down. This circuitry was a favorite mod of 1960s players seeking to tame their amps’ output without losing definition—it’s DeLonge’s preferential modification as well, adding an extra layer of sonic flexibility to a single-pickup guitar. Now you can enjoy that same benefit, allowing for glassy clean tones and dynamic crunch without sacrificing clarity or power.

Effortless Playability From the Modern C-Shape Neck

Wrapped in a smooth gloss urethane finish, the Starcaster’s roasted maple neck features a supremely comfortable modern C shape that fills the hand nicely. The 12" radius and medium-jumbo frets across the rosewood fingerboard promote a balanced playing surface that makes both bending strings and holding chords easier. You’ll enjoy increased dexterity for advanced techniques like tapping, hammer-ons and pull-offs, if your style of playing takes you there. Plus, the neck’s resonant tonewood enhances sustain and projection for notes that bloom with full warmth and character.

Rock-Solid Tuning Stability From Fender Hardware

Ensuring precise tuning performance is a complement of quality hardware. The Tom DeLonge Starcaster sports a set of Fender locking tuners, which clamp down on the strings to prevent slippage that can cause guitars to drift out of tune while you’re pummeling punk riffs. Its adjustable bridge with a stopbar tailpiece also contributes to pitch accuracy and allows custom setup tweaks. With this robust hardware, you can rely on the Fender Starcaster to stay perfectly intonated through even the most intense gigs and sessions.

From its thunderous humbucker to its silky, modern playability, the Fender Tom DeLonge Starcaster is a semi-hollow electric ready to explore the cosmos. With its unique offset body style and versatile tonal capabilities, it provides an inspiring platform for crafting huge riffs, jangly cleans and everything in between.
