This is a very Martin HD-40MK Mark Knopfler Signature edition, the guitar is famed for Mark's choice of wood, with the very rare Italian spruce, from the same valley where Stradivari got his wood, 'Val Di Fiemme'. The wood is rare since it's only harvested once a year, and is undergoing a traditional and long way of ageing and maturing. It's considered the ultimate tonewood for stringed instruments, and the main wood used for violins and similar instruments it shows her magic since the tonal quality of Italian spruce is unique, you will never get better trebles and overtones, and when played fingerstyle the softest touch will bring out magic. A Highlander dual system is professionally installed and sounds absolutely awesome! The essential tone quality of Italian spruce is found in the subtle attack. A high quality hardshell case which perfectly fits included.
