BOSS BD-2 Blues Driver Effects Pedal
Authentic Tube-Amp Emulation in a Durable, Portable Package
The BD-2 Blues Driver recreates the coveted tones of a tube amp being pushed into slight breakup, allowing you to achieve anything from subtle, singing sustain to aggressive overdrive. Unlike expensive tube amps, the BD-2 is built to withstand the rigors of the road in a sturdy metal chassis. Its compact size also makes it ideal for any pedalboard setup.
Responsive Controls Provide a Spectrum of Bluesy Colors
With just three knobs—Gain, Tone and Level—the BD-2 Blues Driver gives you all the control you need to explore the blues rock palette. Adjust the Gain knob to go from a hint of crunch to fully saturated distortion, while the Tone control allows you to dial in the perfect high-end contour. Use the Level knob to match the overall output to your amp for a tone that cuts through the mix.
BOSS Quality and Reliability
Like all BOSS pedals, the BD-2 Blues Driver is built to last with roadworthy construction and components. It runs on a 9V battery or optional power supply, providing consistent performance for years. For blues, rock and beyond, the BD-2 delivers iconic overdrive in a pedal you can count on.
