As a cymbal line that combines advanced manufacturing technology and innovative ideas in Germany, Meinl cymbals' home country, the sophisticated Meinl look and meticulous attention to detail and craftsmanship result in excellent touch that is not limited to any musical style, pleasantly clear, pure overtones, and a rich tone that covers a wide range of tones. As a major series on a par with the Byzance series, these models offer a variety of characteristics that are desired in the music scene.

The Soundwave Hihats have been added to the Pure Alloy series in 14 and 15 sizes. Their quick response and crisp attack provide a clear character, while the wavy-edged bottom prevents airlock and delivers a crisp, full-bodied foot-chick sound. With a pitch that feels as sharp as a hi-hat one size smaller and a volume that feels like a hi-hat one size larger, these hi-hats are perfect for aggressive playing.
