This is a 1990's UK-made PETERSON P150 bass head. This amp was available in a combo format or the head, the latter being especially very rare and desirable. The head is quite lightweight and portable, easy to carry and set up.

This amp is in great operating condition and was gone through by my amp tech. It sounds fantastic A really warm tube-like tone for any style, but these were especially aimed at jazz players in the 90's.

The cabinet is solid mahogany and shows some minor normal player wear but is rock solid. The amp has a lot of great features, such as two speaker jacks on the back, compressor, easy-to-operate tone controls (high, mid1, mid 2, low), effects send/return, and direct out with volume control. It is a boutique quality amp and is really portable. 19.5 inches wide. Comes with original cover which is in great shape. The genuine leather handle on top of the amp shows some wear but is useable and strong.

Many of the Peterson amps were wired 100 volts, a voltage aimed at the Japanese market.  If it makes you feel safer, you can use a converter step-up transformer adapter to equal 100 volts. However, I have been using my 100 volt Peterson PG 120 guitar amp for years with no issues and I do not use a converter.  They seem to be built so well that the amp doesn't care.   If you do want to use a converter, they are readily available for around 50.00.

Allows two speaker hookups - can be 8 ohms each.  Awesome features on this amp.
