My 99th guitar, and another entry into my popular All Mahogany model. The All Honduran Mahogany series features handmade, all solid construction. Built from Genuine Mahogany, this guitar provides a vibrant, lush, and responsive tone with clarity and sparkle all the way up the neck.
The bracing layout is a modified "X-Brace" design. Each brace is hand carved out of Sitka Spruce, and scalloped for the ultimate tonality of each of the plates and the overall sonic profile of this guitar. Designed to give strong feedback at low volumes to the fingerstyle player, but also hold up to heavier strumming without hitting the ceiling.
The hand rubbed oil finish is satin to the touch. This special finish allows the wood to breathe and vibrate freely, sealing the pores without building a thick finish. It looks and feels very different than a factory-sprayed gloss finish. The natural feel lends itself to an intimate connection and really showcases the beauty of the wood.
An Ebony Bridge and fingerboard finish the beautiful look of this guitar, and help color its lovely voice.
Add to this a buttery smooth action and excellent intonation and you're left with the quintessential modern Cabot guitar. A formula that has evolved over 99 guitars and nearly a decade of building by hand.
This guitar is ready to be played for years and years, and ships in a beautiful brand new TKL hard-shell case, and comes with a limited lifetime warranty to the original purchaser.
