Limited specs that were available for order at the dealer event held in spring 2021! A used item in a vivid Sherwood Green Metallic has arrived!

Adopts an offset alder body with the adhesive surface not in the center position, carefully selected for Fender Custom Shop products. The pickguard is a 1-ply parchment guard with 8 points.

*As with the original, the material is thin, so there may be distortion or lifting that occurs from the time of completion due to aging/deterioration.

The neck material, carefully selected like the body, is made of 1-piece Liftson (straight grain) maple. The fingerboard R is 9.5R, and the frets are narrow-tall medium size. The body and neck finish is an all-lacquer finish like the vintage.

The body has irregular weather checking and has damage where the paint has peeled off in large areas. The back of the neck has been peeled off from the 2nd to 10th frets, and the texture of the wood makes it smooth to play. The finish is a amber color with a discolored clear coat.

The neck grip is finished in a '57 Soft V' shape with a smooth apex. The smooth and slim V shape makes it easy to hold, so much so that it feels like a C shape.

The hardware is equipped with a synchronized tremolo with PAT.PEND. engraved saddles, and the machine heads are equipped with vintage-type Kluson pegs.

The live sound of the custom shop, which is above the line among Fenders, is characterized by its clear live sound due to its bolt-on structure, and the airiness and thickness of the sound when output from the amplifier are on another level. Furthermore, the sound obtained by the relic finish is so good that you can fully experience the vibration of the body and neck just by playing one chord.

The overwhelming live sound is so comfortable that you can play it forever even without outputting it to an amplifier, and it is a quality that can only be experienced in a custom shop that is responsive to play.

All the pickups that reproduce the wonderful sound are hand-wound pickups. Compared to normal machine-wound pickups, the impression is that the amplifier outputs a rich, acoustic airiness with rich overtones.

The model is calibrated by selecting a model for each position. The neck position is equipped with a 57 Strat single coil with a calm and warm tone, the middle position is equipped with a Fat 50s single coil with a firm tone, and the bridge position is equipped with a Texas Special with a sense of attack and thickness of the middle.

The middle pickup is reverse-wound and reverse-polarity, so in the mixed position, the hum-canceling effect reduces noise. Although it is listed as 'S21 LTD' on the spec sheet, I think it is a reordered item as it will be shipped in 2023.

As for the condition of this item, it is a model that has been relic-processed from the beginning, so it is difficult to tell if it is a new scratch, but the condition of the back of the neck and the frets are about 80% remaining without dents, so we judge it to be in a beautiful condition with little signs of use. Of course, there are no problems with the electrical system or playing aspect, so you can use it as a guitar that you can use hard. The finish is as if the vintage had been brought to life in the modern era, and the sound produced by the three types of pickups is simply superb. Don't miss out!
